Greenhouse Gas Management

Jarllytec first initiated its greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory in 2022, with the scope primarily focused on its headquarter. In 2023, the inventory scope expanded further to include three Taipei factory sites. 2024 marks a significant milestone as Jarllytec successfully completed GHG inventories for all group locations.
Starting in 2023, our carbon emission data has been verified by independent third parties—MIRDC in 2023 and AFNOR in 2024—to ensure ongoing transparency and credibility.

Scope 1&Scope 2 Emissions

In 2023, Jarllytec’s greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory focused primarily on its Taiwan facilities, covering Scope 1 (direct emissions) and Scope 2 (energy indirect emissions), with a total emission volume of 5,357.147 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e).
In 2024, the inventory boundary was expanded to include all group facilities across Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia. Under this broader scope, the Group’s total GHG emissions reached 9,448.504 tCO2e. Emissions intensity from controllable sources (Scope 1 and Scope 2) was calculated at 0.9865 tCO2e per million NTD revenue. This more comprehensive inventory enables Jarllytec to better assess the carbon footprint across its operations and, while the business continues to grow, more effectively evaluate and demonstrate emission reduction performance.

Scope 3 Emissions

In 2024, Jarllytec conducted materiality assessment and inventory of Scope 3 GHG emissions in accordance with ISO 14064-1 guidelines, covering six categories of indirect emissions. The total Scope 3 emissions amounted to 3,204.204 tCO2e. Among these, emissions from purchased goods and services (upstream energy-related activities) were the highest, at 1,123.74 tCO2e, highlighting upstream energy use as a major indirect emission hotspot for the Group. This was followed by upstream transportation and distribution, which accounted for 745.1761 tCO2e, reflecting the significant impact of logistics activities on overall emissions.

2.Emissions related to solid and liquid waste treatment cover those generated during both their treatment and transportation processes.

To minimize environmental impact and meet decarbonization goals, Jarllytec is committed to sustainable energy management. Following the introduction of renewable energy at our headquarters in October 2024, we procured 324,000 kWh of green power in 2025, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 154 tons. We are also evaluating the installation of solar power systems across our facilities to further accelerate our energy transition.
